Installation Map on a New Device

Preparation (Perform at your computer)
Please follow the steps below
  • Click here to download the map update tool (Papaya 3)
  • Install the tool on your computer (MS Windows)
  • Prapare an empty USB flash
  • Download the latest map data corresponding to your model and region

Please follow the steps below to find the Model of navigation device

  • Unzip the downloaded map
  • Copy the Polnav6 folder to the empty USB flash
  • Remove the USB flash

STEP 1: Install APKs & Map (Perform at the navigation device)
Please follow the steps below
  • Connect the USB flash into the navigation device
  • Start the File Manager APP
  • Copy the Polnav6 folder of USB to /sdcard of navigation device by the File Manager APP
  • Goto /sdcard/Polnav6/APK folder
  • Click polnav6_xxx.apk to install it
  • Click mapupdater_xxx.apk to install it
  • Start the Polnav6 (navigation) APP
  • Goto the About Page of navigation to view the Device Id and remember it. (see following pictures)
  • Remove the USB flash

    • Please follow the steps below to find the Device Id of navigation device


STEP 2: Get a License Key (Perform at your computer)
Please follow the steps below
  • Insert the USB flash of STEP 1 into your computer (MS Windows)
  • Execute the Papaya 3
  • The Papaya3 will ask you to input the Device Id and an Activation code to get a license key
  • The license key will be copied into the USB flash
  • Remove the USB flash

STEP 3: Install License Key to Navigation Device (Perform at the car)
Please follow the steps below
  • Insert the USB flash of STEP 2 into the navigation device
  • Execute the Update function of navigation application
    The Update button is located at 【Main Menu】➜【Settings】➜【Update】
  • Click 【Install】 button. The license key will be copied to the navigation device
  • Remove the USB flash
  • Finish
