Map Update

Preparation (Perform at your computer)
Please follow the steps below to operate in sequence
  • Click here to download the map update tool (Papaya 3).
  • Install the map update tool on your computer (MS Windows).
  • Prapare an empty USB flash for map update.
  • Download the latest map data corresponding to your navigation model/region from table below.

Please follow the steps below to find the Model of navigation device

  • Unzip the downloaded map.
  • Copy the Polnav6 folder to the USB flash.
  • Remove the USB flash.

STEP 1: Install Map to Navigation Device (Perform at the navigation device)
Please follow the steps below to operate in sequence
  • Connect the USB flash to the navigation device.
  • Execute the Update function of navigation application.
    The Update button is located at 【Main Menu】➜【Settings】➜【Update】
  • Click 【Map Update】 button
  • If it is within warranty period the new map will be installed directly. Map update is done.

  • Otherwise, goto the About page of navigation to view the Device Id and remember it for getting a new license key at next step. (see following pictures)
  • Remove the USB flash.

    • Please follow the steps below to find the Device Id of navigation device

STEP 2: Get a License Key (Perform at your computer)
Please follow the steps below to operate in sequence
  • Insert the USB flash of STEP 1 into your computer(MS Windows).
  • Execute the Papaya 3
  • The Papaya3 will ask you to input the Device Id and an Activation code to get a license key
  • When finished, the license key will be copied into the USB flash
  • Remove the USB flash from your computer.

STEP 3: Install Map & Key to Navigation Device (Perform at the car)
Please follow the steps below to operate in sequence
  • Connect the USB flash of STEP 2 to the navigation device.
  • Execute the Update function of navigation application.
    The Update button is located at 【Main Menu】➜【Settings】➜【Update】
  • Click 【UPDATE MAP】 button, the new map and license key will be copied to the navigation device. (see following picture)
  • Remove the USB flash.
  • Finish.

Click the 【UPDATE MAP】 button to start new map installation
